How to Approach 10th Class Science and Get Sample Papers of Class 10 Science For Free

CBSE Class 10th Science Examination concentrates more on testing the fundamental concepts in each of the three areas; chemistry, physics and biology. A distinctive exam, the science exam for Class 10th is considered as the last consolidated exam. For those students who think of pursuing commerce in future, it's the end of science studies and for others who continue with Science Stream, it's just the beginning. But whatever area you choose in future, for now one has to study science and that too seriously.
TIPS:

  • Pen Down all the efficient notes to help during studying apart from studying from books.
  • All the doubts, if any, should be cleared at the earliest from a teacher. It would be appropriate to write down what doubt you had and what you understood in your own words.
  • All the important formulas should be listed down to remember.
  • Concentrate on understanding the basic fundamental concepts and then revising and memorizing the details.
  • Try to write answers in your own words so that one does not rely on mugging answers.
  • When writing your own answers the goal is clarity.
  • Practice all the diagrams; Diagrams when drawn neatly and labelled properly are scoring.
  • Make a study time table and try to stick to it as much as possible. Schedule should be formulated based on difficulty level of chapters in which difficult chapters should be allocated more time while less difficult should be awarded with less time.Don’t forget to add break/rest period in your timetable.
  • Always remember to keep reasonable and achievable targets which can be met with surety. The successful feeling will further boost your studies.
  • Whatever study time you prefer, late night or early morning studying but always make sure that you compensate on sleep.
  • Don’t overdo by trying to use whole nights for study. Although tempting, the lack of sleep will affect your mind's capabilities.
  • Try to approach your studies subject-wise, all physics topics together, chemistry topics together and biology topics together.
  • First hand focus should be primarily on completion of all topics of NCERT Books.
  • If joint studies suit you study occasionally with friends, by each studying a topic and summarizing it to the others.
  • Revision is a must.
  • Refer previous year papers to be able to identify trends and get an idea how questions are framed.
